The logogram of Drăgănești brand

By the accomplished touristic analyze, by setting the symbolic identity elements/the main landmarks (the wooden churches, the religious painting, the art of weaving and embroidery, the greengrocer village Grădinari), the complementary elements (old houses, wooden crucifixes, etc.) by achieving the logograme of Drăgăneşti brand and patterns of flyers/ billboards promoting wooden churches, not least the initiative of rural cycle-tourism development with cycle-route „The Wooden Churches Circuit of Drăgăneşti Commune”, and of course with the illustrative lolograme promoting Cycle-tourism Center in the area, it concludes the Drăgăneşti brand to be an under-brand model of „The Beiuş Land” according to rural tourism promote in the area, where at least in situating terms, this commune deserve it’s slogan: „Drăgăneşti Commune – the center of the Beiuş Land”

The symbol elements:

 

1. The three woden churches: in Sebis, Talpe and Belejeni – these historical monuments are an illustration of the wooden civilisation in The Beiuş Land, and that also represent the cultural symbol and the siprituality of the romanian village.

2. Religious painting one the entry of the courtyard walls - these paintings symbolize transposition christian spirituality from church to their own household. These manifestation of some of the residents which were not limited to simple christian paintings framed for expressing christian faith in their own homes but opted for large religious paintings on the room walls before entering the yard. This manifestation, outward or confession of the christian faith through these  large sizes paintings on the walls is not seen in too many Romanian rural areas, therefore it has been established as a symbol of the Drăgăneşti commune.

3. The handicraft embroidery workshop located in Păcăleşti village represented by traditional embroidery designer Ms. Boc Minerva. Due to the few handicraft workshops and few number of craftsmen in Romania and also considering the particularly tourism  potential that confers it the act of tourism in rural areas, any crafts still preserved and represented by folk artisans should be considered as a symbol of the ruralism.

4. The greengrocer village, Grădinari – considering that traditional and organic agriculture is one of the most important components of rural tourism and gives a sightseeing attraction by its simple requires activity, with the active participation of tourists to the natural step of it, togheter with the locals, with a tradition in the Grădinari village of gardeners growing vegetables and attract the reputation as a  geengrocer village – is undoubtely a symbol of Drăgăneşti commune.

 

Complementary elements:

 

Păcăleşti village, part of Drăgăneşti commune is enjoying of the prestigious name that it bears to it’s association with the legendary character Păcală;

Europeean Drinks (with beer brand Burger and Scandic Distilleries for alcohool beverages) located in the southern part of the administrative territory of Păntăşeşti village;

Sfinţii – on the night of 9 March, celebrating the 40 Saints; the youth community burns rubber wheels on the hill.

Thomas Sunday - St. Thomas The Apostle, a holiday, a tradition; Believers shall make offerings on graves, grife with the deaths, share alms, do libation, organizing a festive dinner in the cemetery next to the church or in the field, on the grass;

Miron Romanul, the former Metropolitan of Transylvania (1864-1898), born in the Mizieş village;

Religious poet and writer Traian Dorz (1914-1989), born in Râturi (today known as Livada Beiuşului), was the leader of church organization „Oastea Domnului” from Romania;

Poet, essayist and novelist Viorel Horj(1914-2004), born in Drăgăneşti, a great cultural personality of contemporary Bihor county; He was awarded with a post-mortem title of honorary citizen of the Drăgăneşti Commune;

Pentecostal church Exodus from Păntăşeşti, where pastor Pustan Ioan was the founder and also preaches; he was born in the village and is known as a major figure in Romania and diaspora communities among  pentecostal christian worship, is also the founder and the president of the non-profit organization Cireşarii and at the same time director of the School of Preaching Cireşarii.

The slogan is a direct reflection of brand strategy and brand logo which represents visual message, the slogan is textual message which form the second pillon in brand transmitting message.

 

It should be noted that at least geographically Drăgăneşti commune have the privilege to be located in the center of the Beius Land. This Commune is not the most representative of this ethnographic zone and do not have a special antropic and natural potential more particular than the other communes. But definetly  it has the advantage of the location, the spot to go in every direction of this Beius Land which provides a lot of sightseeings. In this way the commune can develop and promote by itself, from building a tourist information center and more units of accommodation to leisure cycling type supported on visiting the many wooden churches in Ţara Beiuşului. Moreover Drăgăneşti Commune can be considered just a stopover for travelers which traveling to the resort Stâna de Vale or touristic zone Boga-Padiş.

 

So according to this aspect as a slogan admirably brave impact in attracting tourists to reflect the village's tourism brand in terms of situating Drăgăneşti as:

„Drăgăneşti Commune – the center of the Beiuş Land”.
